Do You Wanna Build A Snowman???

If you can't guess by the title, Ellie LOVES Frozen.  Actually, love might be an understatement.  She just adores it!  She got snow boots and pants for Christmas and was only able to wear them twice for the two storms we had after Christmas that actually had enough snow. We had to take advantage of it and build some snow friends while we could!

This is the snowman she built with Daddy down at Grandma and Grandpa's while I was at work one night.  Levi sat by their front door and watched. ;)

Then playing in the snow at our house.  What fun!  We had to get Levi out too, and this was the best way to keep him bundled up!

Brrr, it makes me cold just looking at it!  Honestly, I'm not too sad that we didn't get more snow!
Until today! haha

I Like Things in my Mouth!

Levi has never been a binky man, but he likes to have everything else in his mouth!  We'll let the pictures do the talking!

What a silly kid!  We love his guts!

Our Little Princess

Ellie LOVES dressing up in Princess dresses and is always saying that she is "Belle" today or "Aurora" today, or some other princess.  It is so funny and we love it.

After she got her Aurora dress for Christmas she wore it like crazy, and I took these pictures of her one day.  She totally looks like a little model in some of them.  What a cute girl she is.  We love her so much!
Ariel is a princess too so Ellie was sharing her lip gloss!

Pretty darn cute, huh?!

Christmas 2013

Let's face it, Christmas was a little more than two months ago!  I am way behind, so I am going to do a quick post. Just a couple random pictures so that we can move on.  I am not saying Christmas isn't important, because it definitely is and it is one of our favorite holidays, but hey, life seems to be going by sooo fast lately.  Let's not live in the past!
Our cute Christmas Tree and Stockings.  Don't worry, I have been trying for YEARS to find stockings that match the ones I made for Clint and I before we had the kids.  I just can't find them!  But one year, I promise, we will all have matching stockings!
Christmas party at Grandma Montag's house the Sunday before Christmas

Christmas Eve we did a gift exchange with my Dad and Nancy
They got Ellie a fish tank and a Goldfish
Levi got a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Piggy Bank
And fun animals and dinosaurs
That the kid's thought were better for eating than playing with!

Ellie chilling with Uncle Navarro at Grandma Child's house Christmas Eve after dinner
Opening jammies on Christmas Eve.
This year we couldn't find Christmas jammies in Levi's size so we just got them normal jammies.  But they loved them and that's all that matters!
 Ellie's stocking
Levi's stocking (I know, a little lame compared to Ellie's, but what do you get a 5-month old besides little toys?  They were inside)
 Christmas Morning
Our cookies and treats for Santa and the Reindeer.  Grandpa and Grandma Shorts sent us a package with goodies and a Gingerbread Man Kit, so Ellie and I decorated them on Christmas Eve.
Ellie's first look at what Santa brought us
Reading Santa's note that he wrote back to our family
Wow he ate a lot of cookies!

 Ellie's gifts from Santa
 Levi's gifts from Santa
Yay, more princess dresses!  Just what we need! ;)
Cool tie that daddy picked out for himself! lol

 New shirts
Of course there has to be a Fire Engine or some kind of medical toy for dad to play with!
Last year Santa got Ellie a Minnie Mouse chair, so this year he got Levi a Mickey Mouse chair to match.
My mom and brother's got Ellie all of the Frozen character Barbies

And they got Levi a blue glow worm and a music mat thing which the kids LOVE
Grandma and Grandpa Petersen and Aunt Carly came to see what Santa brought our lucky little family
Playing the Organ thing at Grandma & Grandpa Child's house.  It's a "play by itself" piano thing, whatever those are called.  Clint is always the only one that can get it to work at first, so we play it every Christmas morning while we're there for breakfast.  It is starting to totally die though, so we have to pump the pedals at the bottom to keep it going!

Ellie got a V-Tech Learning Tablet and some toys for her Kitchen from Grandma & Grandpa Petersen
And Levi got a barn and a basketball hoop
BUT he was tired, so he fell asleep.  Cute little Santa bum, aye?
And Levi got a little M&M sippy cup and a Weber State shirt in the gift exchange
Ellie reading a fun book from Grandma Child
Random pictures we took with our new camera!

This was us decorating Gingerbread Men.  I know, we're in the living room, but it seemed easier to do it on the floor where she could reach everything than sitting at the table.  Hey, holidays are fun, right!  We can do things however we think we should! :)

Christmas was a blast.  We are so grateful for all of the wonderful family and friends that we have and all of the gifts and monies that were given to us.  We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful life.  Thanks to everyone, especially my cute kiddo's, Ellie and Levi, and my wonderful husband Clint.  As long as I have you guys, I have everything!  I love you all!  Merry late Christmas!
