Rest of February Catch Up

We did a whole bunch of fun things in February along with Valentines stuff, so we'll let the pictures tell the story.

Ellie had cute, funky hair days

 Levi made a new friend
We hung out with Ben at Grandma's house
I don't think anyone in the world loves chips as much as these two!
 Levi chilled with Grandpa
He totally has the Petersen ears

Grandma Trena came for a visit and took us to Texas Roadhouse

Levi tried a pickle for the first time

And his heart sucker from Valentines Day
Of course his feet had to help him eat that sucker

 Ellie was a princess...again...and again...and again :)

Just some goofy pictures of Levi

with stuff in his mouth...again...and again...and again :)

We went and visited Uncle Navarro at the Fire Station.  Levi was in his "Little Hero" shirt from Clint's work

Ellie LOVES the Fire Station and Fire Truck

Then we got to go for a ride!
And Ellie kept saying "go go go go go!"
Grandma Trena made pancakes with Ellie one morning

 And played with the kidlets

 again
 and again
 and again :)
It was so fun to have a visit from Grandma Trena!
February was a fun month, as always.  Next will be March!

Valentine's Day

For Valentines this year I decided to do "14 Days of Love" for Clint and the kiddos.  Originally I was just going to do it for Clint, because he is my LOVE;), but I love my kids so much too, so I decided to do it for all of them.  I made little mailboxes out of scrapbook paper and got them a little gift for each day from February 1st to Valentines Day.  It was a blast.  I think the one that loved it the most was Ellie!  It was fun for her to wake up each morning and open her mailbox to see what surprise was inside.  I think I will make that a tradition to do every year now.

We also planted conversation hearts on the 13th, and overnight they grew into heart suckers.  How cool is that?!

Then we did our annual Valentines Dinner that night with the most INCREDIBLE steaks EVER!  If you haven't done so yet, you should all go to Don's Meats in Syracuse, spend a little money on these FABULOUS Las Vegas Steaks, and you will never, ever, ever, ever, EVER regret it!  They are seriously to die for.  Oh. My. Heck.  We just love them.

We also made chocolate covered "hearts" that were strawberries cut in half.  They were quite delicious too!

My mom was in town so we had her join our cute little dinner.  It was so fun.  We just LOVE love!

So happy late Valentines Day to you all! <3

This was Valentines morning.  Normally there was just one little gift in each mailbox each morning.

Flowers that Clint and the kids got for me
 Yup.  'nuf said!
Our dinner table scape.  Trust me, I know, I need to get fancy holiday plates.  Someday folks, someday.  When we have a house and somewhere to keep them, we will!

We ate almost this whole plate that night!
Our flowers...on the left are ones I ordered for Clint, middle are from Clint and the kiddos to momma, and on the right is a cute cute orchid that Clint got for me.

What a fun day!!!
