Remainder of our Texas Vacation

The last day we were there we just hung out in the backyard enjoying each other's company before we had to leave.  We had such a fun time down there!  Thanks mom for making it possible for us to come out and see you guys!  We already miss you all so much!

Ellie thought it would be funny to wear Dave's hat :)

Poor Levi Dude couldn't swim because of his burn, so my mom sat on the side with him while the rest of us played.
 Water fights are fun!
 Then the ride home!

These pictures are from the first flight on the way to Texas.  We bought the kids headphones so that they could watch a movie on the ipad, which we couldn't seem to get to work. . . we are not techy people.  But Ellie LOVED her headphones and Levi could have cared less!  Ha!

The taxiway at the airport went over the freeway!  We thought that was cool!

Then some random pictures that were on a different camera:
This was the "Babes" Restaurant that we ate at the first night.
Clint absolutely loved the place.
It had a down-home southern feel about it.

This was such a funny picture.  Ellie and Trevor both had on Panda shirts! :)

This is what the kids looked like after the aquarium our first full day there!
They both got cute animals, but they were both quite tired too!

Like I said, we had such a fun time down in Texas!
Thanks so much mom!  We love you!

Texas Vacation Day 4

Holy smokes.  School, you guys.  It's kickin' my butt!  I literally don't have enough time for everything in life!  Literally!  :)  So I am way sorry I am sooo far behind on this blog!

On the fourth day down in Texas, July 26, we went to the Fort Worth Zoo!  It was soooooo stinkin' hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Holy cow.  I felt so bad for the kids because they were just sweating their little guts out!  But we still had such a fun time there.  We just made sure to go in the little buildings a lot to get some air conditioning.

Afterwards we went to Medieval Times for dinner since it was my birthday!  That was fun!  They even read my name on a little proclamation thing for my birthday. :)  Then we got an ice cream cake for dessert and my mom bought trick candles!!!!!  I totally wasn't expecting that, it was so funny! It was a hot, tiring, but very fun day!

Walking in (We weren't pooped yet! )
This was the little stroller we rented for the kidlets.  Cute, right?  But not the best stroller.  Plastic on a hot day is totally hot.  Look at their little faces. . . they are sooo sweaty!
Lookin' at baby chimps playing around
This was not part of the zoo.  Just a normal butterfly that Clint got on camera!

My mom had this chimp goin'!  She would hoot and holler at him and he would go nuts!  It was so funny.
These were flamingo nests in the background, and a baby flamingo in the front on the ground.  Look at it's weird legs!  Wild, huh?!
 Just following Uncle Trevor around!
They had this cool cafeteria place where we ate lunch.  It was surrounded by a tank with all sorts of swamp life, including a big alligator!

Sitting on a giant sea turtle!

Trying to touch the baby alligator through the glass
Petting a gecko thing, whatever it was.  Lizard?  I don't know.  But Levi liked it!  Ellie, not so much . . .  haha
 A real comodo dragon!
 Sitting/standing on the fake one!

The lovely choo choo ride that lasted for, oh, 2 minutes or so! :)

 Isn't Ellie so cute?!

 And levi?
 And DAD! ;)
Ellie was such a good big sister.  Levi was pooped so she let him rest on her.  What a sweet girl. :)

Andrew was able to join us for dinner which was fun!
He had to work during the day.
Ellie was thrown a carnation from our yellow knight! :)

 Then those dang trick candles!
Fun times!
