4th of July

We love the 4th of July around here!  It is one of our favorite holidays!  We went to the West Point festivities again this year and had a blast!

Clint grew a beard for the World Cup, so he was a bearded man for the fourth this year!

Levi had fun poking mom with his flag

 Grandpa threw us some candy
Uncle Navarro threw us a LOT of candy! :)
The kids had fun playing together

And Ellie got the biggest cotton candy EVER!
She got to take a picture with some princesses
And Levi wore her crown since she wouldn't
 She got to go fishing
 And get her face painted
And she wanted her picture by this Taxi.  She just loved it!
Then we played Pictureka while we waited for it to get dark
And I told Clint we needed to take a picture of him to prove he was there, so this is what we ended up with. :)
The fireworks that night were AH-MAZ-ING!  They were seriously the best ones we've ever seen.  Everyone was cheering and clapping the whole time!  It was like a grand finale for a whole half hour!

What a fun holiday.  We absolutely loved it and had so much fun.  Then on the fifth we had a big accident.  More to come on that later. :(

June Recap

June was a fun month for us too.  Busy for sure, but totally fun!
I graduated from the Davis County Citizen's Police Academy Class.  It was totally fun!  If you've never heard of it hop on Woods Cross Police Department's website.  It's a free class for the public and totally worth it!  It's great to see everything that the public officials do for us!  The next class starts next week so hurry on up!
Clint spent a week at Scout Camp with seven 12-year-old boys.  I think that says it all . . .
While Clint was at Scout Camp the kids and I went to Lagoon with Grandma and Grandpa Petersen and cousin Ben.  Ellie was finally tall enough this year to ride almost all the rides and she LOVED it!

Then we celebrated Father's Day when Clint got home from Camp.  We took other pictures but they are still on my phone.  We had the crazy killer steaks from Don's Meats and fish from Scout Camp for our dinner that night.
Ellie and Levi played in his crib a lot

We had yet another Spa Night!

 Read some fun books

And went to the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base!  We go every time they have one and we love it!

Levi had some wild hat hair

And by the time the Thunderbirds were done flying, the kids were done.  It was soooo hot that day, so while we were waiting in line for the buses the kids zonked.  What a fun day though!
We had a lot of fun in June!

May Catch up

My oh my, where does time go?  I am sorry I haven't posted much lately!  Life is just so busy and fun in the summer!

Here's our update from May:

We celebrated Mother's Day

Then Clint's youngest sister Carly and her friend Becca ran the Ogden Marathon for their 2nd time!
We went to cheer them on at the finish line.

and it just so happened that Waldo was there
Then Clint had a birthday on the 21st!  He turned 30!

Clint got a cotton candy maker for his birthday, among other things, so we decided to try it out.

The kids loved it!

Then on the 24th we went and rode the Heber Creeper

The theme of the ride was "The Wild West" so they had a stick-up

I love Ellie's face in this one
This cute old man asked if any little kids had a birthday so that we could sing to them.  Nobody raised their hand, so I pointed to Clint and told the man that it was Clint's birthday. :)  The man had Clint tell everybody how old her turned (the big 3-0) and then we all sang to him.  He was so embarrassed!
 "Everybody put your hands up!"
At the end of the ride they found the "missing money" and gave everybody chocolate gold coins.
Then they had a shoot out in the parking lot
And Ellie got to ride a pony all by herself!
And they had free face painting, so Ellie and I got mustache's!
Then that night we had a SURPRISE party for Clint!
He totally figured it out though...like a half hour before it started.  So lame!

Then we went and visited graves on Memorial Day
We took leftover balloons from Clint's surprise party.
It was kind of a nice change instead of the flowers.

Then we stopped at Walmart to try and find engines for some model rockets, and found these mustaches instead.  We showed up to dinner with them on. It was pretty funny!
We had a fun, busy May!
