What We've Been Up To
So since I am on Maternity leave, Ellie, Levi and I have just been hanging out here at home! Here are the fun adventures that we have every day! Really, these are just a few. We have so many! But enjoy!
Ellie...An Only Child No Longer
So since we knew when we were going to have Levi, or so we thought ;), we wanted to have one last night with just us and Ellie right before he was born. So that Friday night we went to Applebee's for dinner and then went to the Children's Museum in Ogden and hung out for a while. We hadn't been to the museum before, and it was fun downstairs, but then we went upstairs and they had a music room with big drums! That was so fun! But it was also closing time so we didn't get to stick around for long. That just means we'll go back soon! Ellie enjoyed it though. Then we came home and I got to put her to bed one last time before I had a baby demanding my attention all the time.
Ellie is so sweet and really has been the greatest big sister. We are so lucky to have such a fun loving little girl in our family. She knew baby brother was coming and wasn't upset or anything. Since he has been here she has been so nice to him and so willing to help out with whatever we need help with. I am so glad we got to have one last night celebrating her before he came. We just love her so much and wanted to show her that we do.

These faces are called "Big Face." Ellie started it a couple of months ago, so now we do it all the time!
We are so happy to have Ellie, but so excited to expand our family too! Now you get to see Levi in the next posts! Yahoo!
4th of July Celebration!
So the 4th of July is big in our house. Big. HUGE. WE LOVE IT! It's really our favorite holiday. So of course we have to celebrate! We did our normal celebrating this year. We went to the parade in the morning, hung out at the park, went to Grandma and Grandpa's for lunch, went home and had naps, went to the park for dinner (although I didn't want BBQ chicken sandwiches so we got me a burrito from Rancherito's) and then hung out until the fireworks started! We had a blast!
Ellie being the crazy Ellie that she is, climbing on Carly and Kenna
Then when we got home that night Ellie went in her room to get ready for bed, and when we went in there this is how we found her...taking care of her baby. :) Getting ready for Baby Brother.
What a good big sister!
June Catch Up
So I know it is TOTALLY lame to do posts from clear back in June when we have had Levi here for a whole MONTH and I've only done one post about him! I am just so behind, but we did some fun things in June, so I wanted to share those. I really will do some about Levi here soon.
So in June we got a toddler bed for Ellie from a family in our ward. We spray painted it green to match her book shelf and set it up. We weren't sure how she would react to it, but she absolutely LOVED it! Good thing! She stayed in it all night long too! Until Levi was born...then she started coming out of her room saying she wanted to sleep with Baby Brother. But she is doing good again staying in her bed, so it's been pretty fun!
Then we celebrated Father's Day. Let me just say really quick, Clint is a great dad. Holy cow. I know we all get busy, and he definitely has his share of busy, but you can tell he really loves his kids and his wife and he is the greatest guy in the world. I am so grateful to call him Husband. He is my best friend and I love him soooo much. Thanks Clint for all of the hard work you put in to make our family what it is. You are the greatest dad ever!
Then sometime in June, don't ask me when, we went to the Zoo! It was a blast. It was actually one of the hottest days of the year too, but the morning was so breezy that you couldn't tell, so we were only hot for about the last hour that we were there. That was great for me being a big pregnant lady that radiates heat! But Ellie loved it and loved seeing all of the animals.
So that was our fun month of June!
