Visit from Grandma Trena

My mom called me the week of Valentines and asked me what I was going to do that weekend.  I told her Clint and I were going to go on our Valentines Date, and she asked if she could babysit!  She surprised us with a trip back to Utah for a bit so that she could see our little Ellie Belly.  Ellie definitely had tons of fun and it was fun to see my mom again!  We just hung out and went shopping and just spent time together.  Thanks mom!

Then they danced together while watching Enchanted.  Every time we watch that movie, when Jazelle is at the ball, I always pick up Ellie and dance with her, so Grandma got in on the fun!  Obviously Ellie LOVES it.

Valentines Day

For Valentines Day we did our usual dinner at home, but this year we splurged and bought DELICIOUS Las Vegas Steaks from Don's Meats.  They were amazing.  Marinated and then wrapped in the thickest bacon you could ever imagine, then grilled to perfection by our grill meister Clint. 

It was so fun to be together as a family that night.  Yes, I burnt a pot because I forgot to put water in it, I ruined another pot by making mashed potatoes in it when it was a non-stick pot, and my brain was just gone.  Blame that on my pregnancy!  But it was the funnest night ever, and we ended it off by watching Lion King and eating suckers from our nephew Ben as dessert.  It was the best, and I truly have the best little family in the world.  I love them so much!

Weber State Basketball Game!

So this is our catch up for February.  At the beggining of Febraury we went to a Weber State Basketball game and Ellie LOVED it!  As soon as we walked into the building she kept saying "Ball, ball!" and everytime the crowd would cheer she would clap and scream.  It was so funny.  She is a true sports fan!

 She also got a towel that they threw into the crowd, which instantly became a blanket. :)

We also got a picture of her with Waldo, but that was on Gary's phone because I was holding her when he came and the camera was in my pocket.  But she had a blast!  She loves anything that involves a ball!

January

So January started out on a rough start.  Ellie got Croup right after Christmas and she was sooo miserable.  We felt so bad for her!  But she got over it pretty quickly which was great.

 As you can see, she still tried to have fun by wearing momma's socks!  She loves socks.

Then we had another Spa Night and all the girls had tons of fun!

Then Ellie and I went out and played in the snow when we had that HUGE storm.  Really Ellie played while I shoveled, but it was a good hour or more!

We came inside afterwards and changed into warm clothes, but Ellie wanted to be outside so bad still, so she stood on the couch just staring out the window at the snow.  She was just thrilled by it!
